HTC

The HTC Desire is an all-new smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation – a manufacturer that is making waves in the business as of late. The handset was ‘officially’ announced on 16th February 2010, and it was released soon after. The device is essentially based around a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, which is currently being ranked as one of the fastest processors currently available to smartphone manufacturers. The operating system that HTC chose to go with for the Desire is the up-and-coming Android operating system, version 2.1. Made by Google, the Android operating system is set to go head-to-head with Apple in the near future to see who can secure the mantel of ‘best OS’. At phone gadgets, you will get latest updates about new hitech phones.

The phone includes an active-matrix OLED (AMOLED) screen which is highly responsive and works well with the equipped web browser for effortless scrolling and crisp a display. Elsewhere, to the rear of the phone, there’s an integrated digital camera, stocking 5 megapixels for superb quality images. Elsewhere, fans of HTC will be pleased to hear that there’s also built in editing software to edit images and video, and then upload to social networking sites. HTC are keen to stress that the hardware of the smartphone actually has the potential to deliver high definition video, however, this is dependant on future updates. Although, with other devices already offering users higher quality video recording and playback, it shouldn’t be long before the manufacturer introduces this for the Desire. The Android operating system that the phone comes equipped with has the ability to take advantage of the video circuitry onboard the aforementioned Snapdragon processor, which means that the handset could then capture video at a much higher resolution (720p on WVGA screen). This is where the Snapdragon really comes into its own and proves why it’s one of the best around. In Europe, carriers of the Desire have announced that it will be Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland, Meteor Irl, T-Mobile UK, O2, Orange UK, 3, and Virgin Mobile UK that will be offering their customers deals on the HTC Desire, however, in Australia the handset is exclusive to Telstra. In Japan, Softbank Mobile have already started sales, beginning in late April, and in South Korea, SK Telecom began selling the smartphone in April. iPod Touch / iPhone won’t turn on

If your ipod touch / iphone shuts off and it doesn’t want to turn on, no matter what are you trying to do, is because it might be stuck in the DFU mode. This is happened regularly when the jailbreak process didn’t work well.

Fortunately there is a solution, even a easy one:
1. turn on your computer and connect your iPod Touch / iPhone to it.
2. hold down both, the power and the home buttons (the iPod Touch / iPhone will power off after 10 seconds)
3. after theiPod Touch / iPhone powers off, release the power button (but keep holding down the home button)
4. in no more than a couple of seconds, you should hear that Windows sounds that means the iPod is being detected by your computer again.
5. release now the home button, and your iPod will be back alive, in DFU mode.
6. open iTunes (if is not already open) and restore your iPod Touch / iPhone firmware.

Your iPod Touch / iPhone will not be jailbroken now, but at least will be functional.

Warning! Spyware detected on your computer!

“Install an antivirus or antispyware remover to clean your computer”

One thing is really getting me: malware! No more than a few days ago I’ve got this awful virus message right before the user login screen. I am using XP Professional on my PC and XP is becoming worst day by day as I’ve got in the last 6 months at least 2-3 infections. On my Lenovo ( :P ) laptop I have Windows 7 Professional, which seams to be the safest OS I ever used and even if is giving me a lot of nerves because of the fancy style a kinda like it.

So, what about this virus message? I’ve rebooted in Safe mode and I tried a couple of spyware remove tools I’ve found on internet but nothing to solve my problem. After an hour or so I discovered a very powerful antispyware and finally I removed the spyware. The software is SUPERAntiSpyware and I am just amazed about it’s simplicity, speed and power and last but not at least the price.

superantispyware

I will share with you just a few details because I don’t want to write a full review about, but since I am really excited about my discovery and still out there are a lot of threats over the internet, we must stay safe.

So, how do you choose your antivirus / antispyware?

For me the price is the first thing I’m looking. Not that I am cheap but anytime the price matter for me. There are many effective products available for free, including SUPERAntiSpyware and I’ve tried over the years the majority of them. What makes the difference between them, and is important, is to choose software with scanning and removal capabilities close as possible with the paid edition.

In this case I’ve tried first SUPERAntiSpyware’s Free Edition and it cleaned and removed this infection as advertised with no catch or fine print. I could have choose to stay with the free version as is doing a damn good job but I’ll always prefer the paid versions especially since in the Pro Edition I take advantage of features such as Scheduled Scanning, Real-Time Protection and Automatic Definition Updates.

You might think that is gonna to be expensive but it isn’t. I’ve payed for SUPERAntiSpyware 39.90 bucks (4 beers) to cover both two computers I have, FOR LIFE. This is the best thing I ever got from an antimalware solution – no annual renewal fees! Hell yeah!

SUPERAntiSpyware is working just prefect with my Norton Antivirus. I have heard that running multiple security solutions is a bad idea. Not in this case. SUPERAntiSpyware it seams that has been designed to work well with others, and its small footprint is not slowing down my computer. I am used to have opened Photoshop and Dreamweaver in the same time as I’m working on websites permanently and the CPU is constantly at 30-40% like before. Not bad :)
